There will be times when family, friends, or even fellow believers don’t see what God is doing in your life. Their doubts may make you question yourself. You may even feel like stepping back and saying, “Lord, maybe I should just quit.”

I noticed that many conversations within church culture, across denominations, not just one, can become centered on external practices, traditions, and interpretations, while people sitting in the pews are quietly fighting spiritual battles, searching for hope, healing, and connection with Christ.

Too many women are defining their worth by someone else’s definition of beauty, one that changes with trends, filters, and opinions.

Christians may differ on doctrine, worship style, or denominational structure, but if they confess Christ, they are part of the same body.

Too often, accountability seems one-sided. The weight falls on the woman, while the man fades quietly into the background. But sin, responsibility, and restoration are never meant to be gendered.

I am often taken aback by how quickly we, as church people, can move toward banishment when it comes to someone else’s sin, especially the sins of women.

Why do we feel the need to know everything about everyone sitting across the pew? A friend of mine jokingly calls people like this “CCs”-Competing Christians. Always comparing, always measuring blessings, and always trying to size up where you are in life.
